Trip Details

Trips are all inclusive, all the guest need to worry about is dressing for the weather and having a current Texas fishing license.

Half days typically run 4 hours, 3/4 days go for 6, and full days are generally 8 hours.

Multi boat trips are available! Just let us know when you are booking and I will get in touch with some trusted fellow guides to help us out.

Trips are conducted in the best boat for the job. Most likely that will either be a 14ft Aire raft or a 15.5ft inflatable jet boat with a NRS fishing frame.

On Full Days a riverside lunch will be supplied. "Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions when you book your trip"​

For all trips and lessons a cooler will be supplied with "non alcoholic" drinks and snacks

A 5% charge may be applied when paying the trip balance with a credit card. Deposits taken over the phone are exempt from this charge.

Currently I do not supply waders as we do our fishing from the boat and usually don't need them. If you want waders they can be rented from one of the local fly shops.

Deposit
A $100 deposit is required to secure your trip date. Once you submit the trip request form I will contact you to confirm the details and collect the deposit.

Want a Fishing Partner?
Would you like a fishing partner on your trip? For guest that are going by themselves or have kids you can request Tippet the Border Collie to come along and assist on your float. He is pretty well behaved on the raft and loves watching people catch fish! If you'd like him to join in on your trip just add a comment when submitting the trip form saying you'd like him to be there and I will schedule him in.
Weather
I'm sure you've heard the expression "If you don't like the weather just wait 30 minutes". If not, well that's usually the case here in Texas which means most days we'll be out fishing rain or shine. Changing weather can make for some great fishing and we wouldn't want to miss out! However if the weather starts to look too dangerous or if its going to shut the fishing down we may make the call to reschedule. If necessary deposits may be refunded.
Cancellation Policy
A $100 deposit is required to book your trip. The deposit is fully refundable up to 2 weeks before the trip date. If the need to cancel comes up within the 2 week period the deposit can be held so we can reschedule for another date. However if rescheduling is not an option the deposit may be returned depending on the situation, In most cases Deposits will be returned. Unfortunately canceling with in 48 hours will result in your deposit being spent on new toys and treats for Tippet the border collie!
